No Medical Questions Asked Health Plans for Diabetics
Most diabetics do not qualify for purchase of individual/family health insurance plans (but are eligible for group insurance coverage). Diabetics under age 65 and their families are eligible for “no medical questions asked health plans.” Well-controlled type 2 diabetics who are non-smokers and have low body mass indexes (i.e. low weight to height ratios] may be eligible for individual/health insurance plans offered by two carriers. Call us at 877-738-1554 for further details and help with enrollment. We also have “child only” plans available for children. Individuals who have had cancer, heart surgery, stroke, multiple sclerosis and other conditions that have been declined for coverage are also eligible to enroll.
We are able to help you with a plan (Choice, Encore, or Elite) that is affordable and will cover pre-existing conditions after 12 months of coverage (these limitations apply ONLY to hospital, ICU, anesthesia services and guaranteed issue life insurance). Plans have no pre-existing condition limitations for other benefits and services except 30 day waiting periods for sickness as outlined in the brochures.
